My best-performing short position today is CROX, down about 13% - - not due to countless children being sucked into the bowels of escalators, but instead due to their most recent earnings and their CEO's departure. I shorted this stock mainly because of The Breakout That Never Happened. It seemed to be exhausting itself at the horizontal line, so I shorted it just beneath it. This was a speculative play, so I've covered the position and counted myself lucky, although it certainly may slip farther.

By the way, is there some Large Forehead fetish I don't know about? I seem to be seeing a lot of them lately while browsing the web.
