Airgas Inc), an industrial gas producing company, was offered a lucrative acquisition of $1.5 billion in all cash deal, or $60 per share, by its peer, Air Products Inc. on Friday. This was a substantial premium to the company’s Thursday’s closing price.


After a lucrative acquisition offer, Airgas Inc. started the Friday session with a gap-up opening with high volumes. The stock also breached above its 20 day MA and 50 day MA in a single session to $60.96, which was even higher than the acquisition price. The stock now has now got very little room to move up further, and could be sold on every rise.
